Acoustic Seals

REDDIPLEX ACOUSTIC SEALS HAVE BEEN TESTED TO BS EN ISO 10140-2:2010 AND BS EN 1634-3:2004 TO DEMONSTRATE PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS. THESE TESTS HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT IN TIMBER DOOR APPLICATIONS.

Acoustic Perimeter Seals

Reddiplex seals demonstrate effective acoustic and smoke perimeter sealing for use in new or retrofit door applications. The range demonstrates compliance with Approved Document E and Building Bulletin 93 in relation to acoustic requirements and Approved Document B with regards to smoke sealing.

Acoustic Threshold Seals

To ensure adequate acoustic sealing and to minimise the closing force it is necessary to install automatic dropdown seals at the threshold of the doorset. These can be either surface mounted or rebated into the door leaf.

Reddiplex acoustic threshold seals are available in a range of lengths and can be cut back by 100mm (max) to suit the requirements of individual doorsets.

Acoustic Meeting Style Seals

Astragal seals are suitable for use on the meeting edges of double doorsets to ensure effective acoustic perimeter sealing.
