Project: The e18hteen, Qatar

The e18hteen is a state-of-the-art office space situated at the edge of Lusail Marina District. The thirty-six floor tower of futuristic design was awarded Best Commercial High-Rise Development in Qatar at the 2017-18 Arabian Property Awards.

Sealing Solution: G2G Glass dry joints

The Reddiplex G2G glass dry joint range was specified for the project’s internal office partitioning, not only for its clear, aesthetically pleasing finish which complimented the architectural design of the tower interior and exterior, but also as an aid to installation. Use of G2G enables a saving on installation time and onsite wastage, and reduces the variability traditionally associated with wet joints such as silicon.

G2G products used in the project include 180 degree I-Joint, Corner Joint, 3-Way Joint, Abutment Joint and the new Facet Joint. All joints are suitable for both standard and laminated glass types, available in a range of colours and are supplied fitted with self-adhesive tape.
