This system is a complex design that is not only entirely leak proof but also allows easy acrylic replacement.

The sealing system is a highly specialist profile as it integrates both solid EPDM and Sponge into a single profile. Co-extrusion ensures that both materials can be accommodated and formed as a single profile which, under the conditions of use specified, will not separate.

This innovative sealing system is used in Lewmar low and medium profile hatches. Both of which are suitable for use in powerboats, sailboats and yachts.
