Meshlock Screen Retention System for Insect, Fly or
Night Screens
Meshlock is a ground breaking solution to the problem of insect
screen retention in "High wind" and turbulent weather
scenarios. The product incorporates a system of inclined, resilient
monofilament brushes encapsulated into an extruded
carrier base to create an ultra firm locking mechanism that overcomes insect
screen distortion by holding the insect screen firmly within the channel.
How Meshlock works?
The purpose of Meshlock is to lock insect screens unsupported sides when force
is exerted upon them. As the force of directional air pressure becomes greater
on the screen, the system of inclined rigid monofilament brushes locks in
the moving screen, retaining it within the channel. When the air pressure
subsides, the brushes continue to be retained until the screen is retracted.
Upon retraction the brushes remain resilient and are automatically repositioned.
Applications
A range of variable brush lengths are available to cater for the specific requirement
of each client, offering a tailored service to provide the most effective
solution.
Upon receipt of the channel specification to which the Meshlock will be applied,
Reddipile will provide advice on brush lengths and liaise with the customer
to organise fit and function trials.
