Flexible Adhesive SEAL FOR Showers, Baths or Kitchens

Reddiplex manufacture a mildew resistant flexible adhesive seal which gives a watertight seal for bathrooms and worktops. Known as 'Aquatrim', it is fast, clean and easy to install - simply press it into place - and it provides the perfect finish every time.

If the edge of your bath is unsealed, water can drip down between the bath and the wall and cause flooding, mould and damp problems. We would recommend sealing the gap between bath and wall to eliminate these potential problems.

There are two main methods of sealing a bath. The first is to use a specially purchased sealant strip such as Aquatrim. The second is to use silicone sealant which gets squeezed out of a 'gun' and is pumped out as a quick drying semi-liquid with the look and consistency of toothpaste. Both methods are effective but the silicone tends to be less effective on wider gaps.

Flexible adhesive seal makes it easy to seal around the top rim of a bath or shower tray. Applying the flexible seal is quite simple. It is a matter of just cutting the self-adhesive seal to lengths needed, peeling off the backing and pressing the sealant strip into place.
