Working With New Materials in Extrusions
Reddiplex are leading the way in the development of profile extrusions and working with a new generation of materials. Reddiplex is at the forefront of technology in processing the latest generation of modern polymers and engineering thermoplastics, many of which need innovative tooling techniques and specialised processing.

Research & Development Capabilities
Reddiplex’s capabilities in research and development include working with customers to fully understand the problem on which they are seeking a solution. After this stage we move onto their design aspirations and producing design proposals. Reddiplex also advise on material selection and the development and manufacture of tooling for trials or production.

Dedicated R&D Production Equipment
Reddiplex have installed full size production equipment specifically for Research & Development purposes. This facility also allows customers and material manufacturers access to conduct their own programmes as required. Finally, Reddiplex can offer advice and assistance in designing any specialist machinery to assist in the production of projects.

In-House Tooling Facilities
One of our great strengths is that all tooling is designed and manufactured on-site by Reddiplex, allowing for a quick development of new tools and easy modification to existing ones. The tool room currently holds a database of over 7,000 completed tool designs and is dedicated to the manufacture of extrusion tools only, thus allowing for a quick development of new dies and manufacture.

Modern Design & Manufacturing Techniques
The in-house Technical department produces drawings promptly and accurately with modern CAD systems and 3D modelling. Tooling design and manufacture is fully CAD and CAM equipped, producing extrusion dies and forming calibrators on CNC machines ensuring accuracy and repeatability.

Experienced and Professional Advice
The Technical department has the ability to provide drawings and product specifications with full details from materials through to packaging specifications. They can also offer sound advice on materials and product design. Reddiplex has vast experience of designing products from start to finish, and working closely with customers on ideas and concepts.
